About Dessie Designs

Dessie Designs is a little card studio on Sydney's Upper North Shore, run by illustrator Odessa Rawlins. Every card starts as an original pencil-and-ink drawing — no AI and no mass production — which Odessa then scans, prints and packs by hand at home.

 

How it started

Dessie Designs began as a passion project: a way to turn the doodles Odessa loved drawing into something people could send to the ones they care about. Today the range covers birthdays, new babies, teacher thank-yous (one for every letter of the alphabet), Christmas, Halloween and plenty of “just because” designs.

 

What you get

Each card is A6, blank inside and sealed in a clear cello sleeve with a matching envelope. You choose the colour: Strawberry Milk pink, Bluebell blue, Lemon Drop yellow or Marshmallow white – or pick “Surprise Me” and we’ll choose for you. At Christmas there’s Holly green and Robin red, and Pumpkin orange for autumn.
