Hi, I'm Odessa — the hand behind every drawing at Dessie Designs.
Every card begins as an original pencil-and-ink drawing before it's turned into a keepsake you can send. I'm drawn to the small, sweet details of everyday life — autumn leaves, friendship bracelets, a good cup of tea, the little rituals that make a day feel special. If you've spotted a Christmas, teacher, or "just because" card in the shop, chances are it started as a doodle about something I genuinely love.
I'm based in Warrawee on Sydney's North Shore, and you'll usually find me at local markets on weekends with a fresh batch of cards, prints, and whatever I've been experimenting with lately. If you've picked up a card from me in person, thank you — those conversations are honestly my favourite part of doing this.
Everything is designed, drawn, and packed by hand, right down to the coloured envelopes. I hope one of these finds its way to someone who needs a little reminder that they're loved.
